TerraMadre 2016> food, people, stories
I just attended TerraMadre, a 4 days festival of traditions and food sovereignty held every two years in Turin, Italy.
The gathering of some 7,000 delegates form 140 countries from around the world gives a platform to producers and land stewards and enable them to present their uniqueness, networking with fellow growers from around the globe.
The event is organised by the Slow Food organisation, that by now, 30 years from its inception in Bra, Turin, has representatives all over the world. I was there as one of the delegates form Sydney, Australia.
