Year of the goat is here, good to hear

Today is the start of the Lunar Calendar year and the supermoon  up there brings on the year of the Goat/Sheep, a year that traditionally brings on Peace, Harmonious co-existence and Tranquility. For this reason we will present a series of free tours through out the year, starting from next Saturday 28 of February, in Singleton,  along the Hunter River, sponsored by the Singleton Public Library.  If you live close by and interested  call 02 6578 750

February 28th, 10am - 12pm meet at the library I guess, call them to find out.

And then again another FREE TOUR on Saturday March 14, as part of LOST, the Leichhardt Council artist's Studios Trail that brings people to the creatives.
In my case my studio will in a park in Rozelle, See here for details and Bookings.
We might even go and visit the Bunya trees out there, who are having a bumper crop this year. Watch out, they are heavy pine nuts, full of proteins, but potential damage to parking cars. hehehe. See what Anja has to say about it>>

boil kernals for 10 minutes, cool, peel & you have yummy soft nut. can be used in salads, with sauce, roasted with garlic, put through food processor with some milk for mash, patties, cakes & of course pesto... Definitely never park your car or camp under a fruiting bunya: deadly!!

Happy New Year folks :)
